Roza Restaurant @ Coburg

This has to be one of the most enjoyable restaurant I've ever been in term of the environment.
It was like I've been brought into a middle of the desert culinary experience where we were welcomed into a fully air-conditioned tent with such a nice ambiance into it.

Shoe Off Please!

Practically we have to eat on the carpeted floor & customer have an option to have their orders to be serve together in large trays so they could share it just like how the locals do it. The portion were just totally enormous & i would really suggest if you have a small stomach just to share a plate between two person :)

customer were serve with a warm bowl of lamb soup as an entree

lamb madhgoot - aud12.00

chicken madhgoot - aud12.00
slice of chicken cooked with mixed spices & olive oil
& rice serve with rice, yogurt & vegetable salad

I would say that Roza is quite a niche restaurant as they only serve quite a limited offering on their menu; but their specialty will be definitely the madhgoots. It has such an african/arab influence on the dishes such as;

^^lamb stomach (kamoniya) - aud aud8.50
^^meat & chicken (zigni enjera) - aud14.50
- african zigni sauce (lamb pieces) cooked in; tomato, pepper, butter, herbs & spices & served with injera & vegetable salad
^^raga tuna - aud11.00
- cooked mushroom with tuna, tomaton sauce, butter & garlic
