Love Story in 100 words.

It began with the end in mind. There is no love story truer than the ones that has stood the test of time; my parent for instance were introduced to each other through arranged marriage. They fell in love at the first sight and they are still happy together with 5 gorgeous children. Love likes to live in the small things as my mother always told me; it is the simple gestures that made her fall in love with my dad every single day and that is certainly a recipe for a long lasting marriage.

Why MAYBANK should give me tickets to Legoland?

Aumm! Maybank cute little brother

It's pretty simple.
Our family has been with MAYBANK even before i was being born, while looking closely at my identity card- 29 years young and tracing back at my parent working history; it should be well over 30 years that our family has been a loyal customer with MAYBANK. It's about time that the whole family get rewarded with something such as family-oriented excursions like this, don't you think so? :)

Phew..
Checking back at my identity card; I'm that old, huh?
But still the child in me is jumping up and down anxiously when they first announce to open a world-class theme park in our 'front yard'. LEGOLAND~ is certainly something that is very much welcomed by the young and the not-so young kids from all over Malaysia. Maybe not just from Malaysia as this is the only LEGOLAND in Asia; I believed others from all over Asia too are excited with the news, especially from our neighboring ASEAN countries. I was literally drooling when they explained that there will be a miniature city of architectural wonders from all over Asia made entirely with LEGO brick. Judging from the pictures alone i could imagine myself running here and there taking pictures of these marvelous creations.

I could see myself like this guy with the cameras & whole bags of souvenirs

Who can forget the joy of being able to build the highest tower in your kindergarten using LEGO brick, or when you purposely planted LEGO bricks in places where you expect people to step on it (you know that it really hurts). All those certainly bring back fond memories as well as those moments of you quarreling over 'LEGO TIME' with your siblings; and now that we have all the LEGO that we wanted to play all your heart out - who want to miss THAT opportunity?

coolest job on earth - LEGO designer

Both MAYBANK and LEGO has been around me ever since I was young and among my early childhood memories were those moments when my parent used to frequent our nearest MAYBANK branch at the end of each months & I'll never missed to brought my LEGO while waiting for the number to be called. This time it will be the other way around, as I am DEFINITELY will be bringing my MAYBANK debit card to LEGOLAND if I ever got the chance to visit the place.

never leave home without this~
Life is so much easier with my Maybank Visa/Mastercard debit card a.k.a cherry card as we could spend our own money without relying on credits which is certainly much preferable and as convenient as having a credit card minus all the annual fee and other interests. Shopping are enjoyable as cherry card is much safer and more secure without the burden of having to carry lots of cash. Splurging in LEGOLAND is certainly one of the perks that I'm really looking forward to by using this cherry card.

Btw, MAYBANK is MY bank!

Power in my Pocket!

Pocket Monster!

For an avid traveler and photographer like me, timing is everything... whether it's taking on subject that is moving quickly, capturing a split second expression, immortalizing a priceless moment or just taking pictures of mouth-watering foods; I always certainly needed a camera that is highly portable and convenient to use. 'Power in Your Pocket' tagline is definitely apt for Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 as it is proven to be a beast that is boasting with lots of functionality yet still small enough to be stored away in my jeans pocket.

The ability to achieve DSLR-like effects and image quality is a real treat given the camera compact size and light weight. The Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 now proves that we don't necessarily have to purchase and carry around a huge camera to get excellent results - it really does hit the sweet spot between portability and image quality. Several components in the Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 works well together to provide the excellent results, including a one-inch sensor that's roughly four times the size of what normally found in compact cameras.

Shoot to kill

VS.

Shoot to kill?

The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 is the first truly pocketable camera to offer a DSLR experience, and in that regard it could almost be seen as something of a bargain considering its price. The combination of the fast lens with a seven- bladed circular aperture and the big sensor is definitely something  that I really looking forward for, allowing user to easily create defocused depth-of-field effects that will give DSLR-like bokeh which is almost impossible to achieve with most other pocket cameras.

It also boasts a long list of other stand-out features, particularly excelling in the speed department as auto-focusing is very quick and reliable. The speediness of the Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 also meant that it allows me to take pictures rapidly, up to ten frames per second if using the Speed Priority mode which is quite impressive and up there with some DSLRs.

I would imagine most people buy the Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 for its excellent still image quality but it's worth noting that the video at 1080/50p HD resolution is pretty good too. This camera really does deliver DSLR-like performance and image quality in a pocketable format, which is definitely music to my ears.

The pop-up flash  is small, but surprisingly useful as it can be bent back for bouncing the light

Stylish and super compact, Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 is a great company to any party. Excellent in low-light conditions, it offers an ultra-bright F1.8 Vario Sonar T Carl Zeiss lens and a large 1.0 inch 20.2 megapixel EXMOR CMOS sensor. The combination of the f/1.8 aperture, effective built-in image stabilizer and maximum ISO speed of 6400 also makes this camera well suited to hand-held low-light photography. Your unforgettable moments would be beautifully forever immortalized.

Foods also never seems more irresistible with this super awesome camera; always packing punch in its compact yet solid body, Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 never fails to impressed especially in taking mouth-watering pictures of the scrumptious food by vividly capturing every essence of a great picture. Composing pictures is easy thanks to the 3-inch LCD at the back, which is high-resolution sharp and visible even in bright sunlight that will proves its usefulness when having a picnic or barbeque under a blazing sun.

Elegant in black.
Although it is small, it felt weighty and feels solid enough to give it a feel of real quality; and for klutz that always misplace and drop their camera, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 is just perfect for someone like me.  The metal chassis also feels tough enough to withstand the odd knock and scrape. To back this up is the automatic drop detection that sees the camera retract its lens to protect itself should it detect a sudden fall.

If you still seeking a truly portable digital camera that doesn't compromise on image quality, there's nothing like the Cyber-shot DSC-RX100. For more information regarding this sexy beast, head over your nearest SONY Center to seeks some advice from their highly knowledgeable technicians or to get hold of this awesome camera. You also could just visits Sony Malaysia homepage and search for Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 to find out more about its technical specification as well as to find more of how this black beauty would change the way you took picture forever.
